BTC - Women’s Open Day

Manama : Bahrain Tennis Club’s policy to spread the sport of tennis among women continues with the signing up of coach Jess Espinosa from the Philippines for the training of youth players and the supervision of training programmes for women and girls. 

The club’s Ladies Programme Consultant Dr Amal Al Jowder and Dr. Amal Al Jowder and Head of the Ladies Committee of the club Marwa Mohammed Ahmed expressed their happiness on the appointment of the new coach, which is a great addition to the training and fitness programmes through her vast experience.

Today Bahrain Tennis Club will host an open day for women and girls which will include tennis exercises for beginners and middle level. It will also include recreational competitions in which the players will receive prizes. 

It is being held under the patronage of Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Chairperson of the Women’s Sport Committee of the Olympic Committee and President of the Bahrain Table Tennis Federation,
