Brave 9 reveals fight card

Manama : Brave Combat Federation has announced the biggest-ever fight card for the organisation for Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions. The event is set to take place at the Khalifa Sports City Arena, Bahrain, on November 17th. Three title fights are announced with the main event being for the Lightweight championship between Ottman Azaitar from Morocco and Alejandro Martínez from Mexico.

Featherweight champion Elias Boudezgdame from Algeria will defend the championship against former UFC fighter from Brazil, Lucas Martins. Gurdarshan Singh Mangat will be fighting against Stephen Loman from Philippines for the Bantamweight championship. There are 13 non-title fights scheduled for the ninth edition of Brave Combat Federation. MMA superstar and former World Champion Gesias Cavalcante will make his promotional debut against former UFC Lightweight Alan Omer. 

Carl Booth and Jarrah Al Selawe will have their long awaited rematch as Mohammad Fakhreddine will face Tahar Hadbi. The main card will also feature a Lightweight bout between Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady representing Palestine facing and Erick Silva from Brazil.

The Preliminary card is stacked with rivalries and unpredictable fights designed by the matchmaker Yousef Nassar. Hamza Kooheji from Bahrain will face Mohammad Farhad in a Bantamweight fight. The preliminary card features big names such as Erik Carlsson from Sweden facing Ahmed Amir from Egypt and Jeremy Smith from South Africa facing former wrestler from Russia Ikram Aliskerov. Charlie Leary from England will face SBG prospect Daniele Scatizi. 

Hardeep Rai will be facing Alex Trinidad who is a former Bellator fighter and a US Navy veteran. The fight card will begin with India-Pakistan rivalry when Atif Mohammad will face Haider Farman. The preliminary card will have familiar faces as Chute Boxe’s Felipe Efrain will fight Nawras Abzakh. Conor McGregor’s training partner, Frans Mlambo faces German-Brazilian Michael Deiga-Sheck. Finally, Jeremy Pacatiw will attempt to become the first-ever Brave fighter with three promotional wins when he takes on Jalal Al Daaja in one of the night’s first
bouts.

There will be 32 fighters who representing 20 nations featured at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions. The event is announced as the highlight of the 2017 Brave International Combat Week held in the Kingdom of Bahrain which also features the IMMAF World Championships.
