InjAz honours GPIC volunteers
Manama : The Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) has honoured Company volunteers who participated in and helped implement community initiatives of InjAz Bahrain.
The ceremony was attended by InjAz Bahrain Chief Executive Officer HH Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa. GPIC volunteers have so far contributed around 4,000 hours since InjAz was established in 2005.
Speaking on the occasion, Shaikha Hessa thanked the volunteers for the initiative. “You have demonstrated to all your ability to assume responsibilities with great efficiency.”
“Today we see the fruits of cooperation between InjAz Bahrain, GPIC and other supporting companies for the benefit of Bahrain and its people.
“I urge you to continue these efforts and contribute to these programmes,” added Shaikha Hessa.
GPIC President and InjAz Bahrain Chairman Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery expressed his pride and admiration for the volunteers and motivated them to continue doing so in the coming years.
Dr. Jawahery paid tribute to Shaikha Hessa for her efforts in setting up InjAz Bahrain and its efforts in developing plans and programmes to support the social cause.
More than 140,000 students from various government schools in Bahrain have so far benefitted from the programmes developed by InjAz Bahrain.
