Omer confident to beat Cavalcante

Manama : Alan Omer will make his second appearance for Brave Combat Federation and he will be fighting against veteran Gesias Cavalcante. Gesias had a legendary career with 21 victories out of his 34 appearances and is a former Titan FC lightweight champion. Cavalcante holds professional wins over Rani Yahya, Tyson Griffin and Pat Healy.

“Gesias is a great fighter and a legend. He fought the best guys in the world just when I started with MMA. I have a lot of respect for him but don’t understand me wrong, I will not give him one second of respect in the fight. He is very well rounded but I have a better game plan. I don’t want to go to a decision, I’m going to finish him and will set a strong signal to the MMA world,” said Alan.

Alan is a former UFC fighter who joined Brave Combat Federation and expressed his delight to fight at the heart and home of the promotion in Bahrain. Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa will be a part of 2017 Brave International Combat Week which also has 2017 IMMAF World Championships held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
