Farman represents Pakistan community

ManamaBrave 9 will feature Haider Farman as the only Pakistani fighter in Bahrain. Haider will be facing Atif Mohammad, who will be representing India. The match will showcase one of the longest rivalries in any sports between India and Pakistan.

This will be the first time in Bahrain witnessing the India and Pakistan rivalry in Mixed Martial Arts. This will be the sixth career fight of the 21-year old Farman, who trains at Islamabad’s Team Fight Fortress. Haider has four victories out of his six professional appearances.

Haider aims to represent the glory and pride of Pakistani MMA. The match will be tough given that Atif Mohammad is one of the fighters with global exposure training in gyms around the world and is one of the first fighters to join the KHK MMA fight team.

Atif had started his career with the Super Fight League in 2013, but he embarked to pursue quality training and to focus on Amateur MMA until he returned to compete in pro-division at the opening bout of Brave: The Beginning. Atif is the first Indian to score a victory in Brave Combat Federation.

Atif and Farman are also known for their dynamic speed and agility inside the cage, which leaves a fair prediction of a thrilling contest between these two. Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions which is held under patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of BMMAF, marks the promotion’s return to the Kingdom of Bahrain after a year spent expanding its operations worldwide.
