‘Xi Jinping: The Governance of China’ launched in Bahrain

Manama : The book ‘Xi Jinping: The Governance of China’ by the president of China Xi Jinping was released yesterday in Bahrain during a function organised by the Chinese Embassy in collaboration with Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA).

The event was held in the presence of Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of BACA and Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain Qi Zhenhong. 

During the launch, Chinese Ambassador Qi Zhenhong said that the book will help better understand China and its views and solutions on global issues. 

Highlighting the good relations enjoyed by China and Bahrain, the Ambassador said: “I hope and believe that the circulation of ‘Xi Jinping: The Governance of China’ will help further promote mutual learning, mutual reference and mutual improvement between the peoples of our two countries.”

Elaborating, Qi Zhenhong said the book will help readers learn about President Xi’s propositions and philosophy on regional and international affairs, understand China’s sense of responsibility as a member of the international community, appreciate how the Chinese dream and the world’s dream go hand in hand, and build the community of shared future for mankind under the principle of “extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits.”
