World Military showjumping: Mansoor claims third place

ManamaBahraini rider Ahmed Mansoor managed to win the third place at the World Military Show Jumping Championship held in France, while the team consisting of Khalid Hilal Al Khatiri, Ahmed Mansoor and Saber Salman Faraj won the third place at the level of teams.

The Kingdom of Bahrain ranked third place on the individual and team levels, while France came first, Brazil second, Morocco fourth, Spain fifth, the Netherlands ranked sixth, Uruguay ranked seventh, Tunisia came in eighth place and Kuwait in ninth place.

On this occasion, the team leader HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa expressed his thanks and appreciation to the BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and other officials for their support. Shaikh Isa also praised the follow-up of Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, President of BREEF, which contributed to the achievement of great results.

Supreme  Council for Youth & Sport Chairman, Bahrain Olympic  Committee President & Royal Charity  Organisation (RCO)  Chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the achievement of the Bahraini military show jumping team.

Shaikh Nasser affirmed that the new achievement of the military team was a result of the great support extended by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the sports movement in the Kingdom, especially the equestrian sport, which is flourishing under His Majesty’s support and the achievement of national teams at various levels.

Shaikh Nasser added that the military show jumping team was able to achieve third place at the individual and team level, which indicates the remarkable development witnessed by this sport.

“The participants who took part in the World Championship are some of the Kingdom’s finest and have demonstrated great and impressive levels in their path towards victory in this world forum, hoisting the flag of Bahrain,” Shaikh Nasser said.
