Preparations begin for National Day celebrations
Manama : Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa held a meeting with Southern Municipality director-general Asem Abdullatif Abdulla and discussed joint preparations to mark the National Day in December.
He described the Southern Municipality as an essential partner in spearheading Government work and carrying out programmes and projects.
He stressed the importance of stepping up cooperation and partnership to ensure the success of the preparations ahead of the national days, scheduled to be held in December 2017.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa reiterated keenness on the plans drawn up by the Southern municipal authorities to ensure the success of the camping season.
He underlined the initiatives of the Southern Governorate to bolster the role of the municipality in organizing clean-up campaigns in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
Southern Municipality director-general Asem Abdullatif Abdulla reiterated stressed joint cooperation, paying tribute to the Southern Governor for his keenness on following-up ongoing preparations.
