Farhad aims title after Bahrain win

Manama : Mohammed Farhad from India will face Hamza Kooheji at Brave 9 held in Khalifa Sports City on November 17. 

The Indian bantamweight fighter have announced that he is confident over a victory against Hamza and is looking forward to secure the Bantamweight championship title at Brave. 

Farhad holds the record for the fastest knockout in the history of Brave Combat Federation. Farhad also holds the record for the longest winning streak in the history of Indian Mixed Martial Arts. Currently training with Team Relentless, he is also significantly influenced by the explosive boxing skills of his training partner, Abdul Muneer.

“Hamza is similar to me in many aspects. He represent Bahrain as the only Bahraini pro-MMA fighter and is the pride of Bahrain. Any athlete who steps into the cage deserves respect. This fight will be about who wants the victory more. He stands in the path of my dream about the championship title of Brave Combat Federation. I am sure that I will win over him with a TKO,” said Mohd Farhad. Farhad also stated that he will be looking out for the opening bout that will feature India against Pakistan. Atif Mohammad will face Haider Farman from Pakistan. 

Brave 9 features 32 athletes representing 21 nations competing against each other. The event which is held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa features three championship title fights which makes it the largest fight night in the history of Middle East.
