MoFA monitoring Bahraini student’s health condition
Manama : The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is following up the health condition of a Bahraini student at a university in the United States, after a report appeared in a US newspaper about him, Assistant Undersecretary for Consular Affairs, Resources and Information, Ambassador Khalil Yacoub Al-Khayat said yesterday.
He said that the student’s father was contacted to learn more about his son’s situation.
The ministry has asked the Bahraini embassy in Washington to update on the citizen’s health and living conditions in the United States. The embassy is communicating with US officials on the matter.
The follow up is based on the directives of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to care for Bahraini citizens abroad and keep close contact with them, especially when exposed to difficult circumstances.
