BJBFS gets top Japanese honour
Manama : The Bahrain-Japan Business & Friendship Society (BJBFS) has been awarded the “Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2017” by Japan’s Foreign Ministry.
The award recognises BJBFS efforts in strengthening relations between the two friendly states in trade, culture and organising events.
The Commendations certificate is awarded to individuals and groups for their outstanding achievements, and it is the first certificate granted to a Bahraini-Japanese organisation in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kiyoshi Asako has read out the letter of Fumio Kishida, former Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan in a special ceremony held at The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel this October.
BJBFS Deputy President, Nasser Mohammed Jamil Al-Arayyedh, on behalf of the society’s board and all members, hailed the leaders of Bahrain for the achievement.
It is worth mentioning that BJBFS was founded in 2008 by leading businessmen from Bahrain and Japan and presided by Mubarak Jassim Kanoo along with Nasser Al-Arayyedh as Deputy President and the Honorary President Shaikh Ali Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
