Asry named best offshore shipyard
Manama : ASRY, the leading ship and rig repair yard in the Arabian Gulf, has been named as ‘Best Offshore Yard’ at the 2017 edition of the IMC Excellence Awards organised by the International Maritime Club’s Bahrain and KSA chapter.
Commenting on the award, ASRY Offshore Services General Manager, Rob Bryant, said, “It’s encouraging to see our Offshore repair capabilities rewarded in the region. We have steadily grown our portfolio with over 100 rig projects now completed.”
“We’ve also diversified into component fabrication and are looking to become a multi-service engineering partner to the oil and gas sector regionally,” he added.
International Maritime Club (IMC) is a non-profit organisation which works for the conscious and continuous development of the global maritime industry. It is a platform where professionals from various sectors of the maritime industry come together under one roof to exchange knowledge and ideas on the maritime trade and industry.
