30,062 transactions completed in Bahrain in January

ManamaThe Department of Criminal Information at the General Directorate of Criminal investigation has completed over 30,062 transactions during the January to September period this year. 

The directorate is tasked with a number of responsibilities, including monitoring investigation of suspects, following court judgments, doing security audits on civil and military employment, internalization of information and data on foreigners infected with communicable disease issued by the Ministry of health. 

The directorate also deals with requests for employment with ministries and government bodies. 8,487 of the transactions were job applications to ministries and government institutions, and 17,356 were good conduct certificates said Head of the Directorate, Colonel Raed Ali Al Muaili. 

Detailing the other transactions they dealt with this year, Col. Al Muaili said. “Licenses to practice law (475), licenses for public transportation (22), a license to open a private educational institution, 2,681 commercial registration applications, along with 562 applications for rehabilitation were among those processed.” he said.
