INJAZ Bahrain takes part in Young Arab Entrepreneurs competition
Manama : INJAZ Al-Arab, a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide (JA), announced the conclusion of its 11th Annual Young Arab Entrepreneurs Competition.
Held under the patronage of the Egyptian Ministry of Education, and in partnership with the Egyptian Tourism Authority, the competition brought together 80 of the most promising young Arab entrepreneurs from 10 Arab countries to compete for six awards in both High School and University categories, and three special awards sponsored by FedEx, Citi Foundation and MBC Al Amal.
INJAZ Bahrain was represented by team “Machla” from Ibn Khaldoon National School competing in the school’s division, and team “Royal Critters” from the Royal University of Women competing in the universities division.
Team “Machla” qualified for more than four awards: Outstanding Customer Service” by City Foundation, “Best Social Impact School”, “Best School Product” and “Best Student Company - School Class 2017”, and were among the top three candidates for the best student company for the year 2017. Team “Royal Critters” qualified for the MBC Hope Award and were also ranked among the top three.
Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Injaz Bahrain, said: “We are proud of INJAZ Bahrain’s students having reached the final stages of the Young Arab Entrepreneur Competition.”
