Al Romaihi continues impressive form
Manama : Young Bahraini athlete Mayoof Al Romaihi has continued his impressive form in the new Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation Showjumping season after dominating the youth categories. Al Romaihi won the first youth category (first level) with a flawless performance, clocking 27.92 seconds, followed by Hussain Asghar (29.43 seconds) in second place.
Third place went to Ahmed Esa, who was nearly one second behind the runner up. Al Romaihi didn’t stop there as he went on to bag the title of the second youth competition, finishing it in 29.84 seconds without committing any fault. Jameela Hassid was 3:32 seconds behind in second place as Ahmed Esa (32.80 seconds) completed the podium.
“I had strong preparations ahead of this round in the past two weeks. I have to credit my father and my trainer for the impressive results. They were both very close to me. Am glad to see my efforts are paying off,” Al Romaihi said after his victories.
