A creative nine year old with dreams

Jumana Al Zenji has high aspirations, at just 9 years old she is already chasing her dream of becoming a successful business owner.

Despite her tender age, she has already set up a business ‘Juju Sweet Spa’ selling body scrubs. Taking care of the skin is her passion and she says that is something she wants to do for the rest of her life. She says she plans on becoming a dermatologist to help her in her pursuit. Marrying science and business, she hopes to make a difference in Bahraini woman’s beauty regimen.

“I am interested in making and selling scrubs and taking care of my skin. I like having this business as it is something that I like to do. I want to be a skin doctor one day and have my own spa also,” she said. 

Currently she personally makes all the scrubs that she sells. The scrubs come in various colours and are sold for BD 2. 

She said she first got the idea from her aunt but she later figured out the rest on her own. 

“My mother, aunties, sister and cousins help me by selling my scrubs. My mother helps me by taking me to buy the things I need. My auntie as well supervise me in making the scrubs,” she added.

“They remove the dead skin, germs and bacteria from your body,” she said explaining about the scrubs.

Recently she exhibited at the Bahrain Entrepreneurs Exhibition held at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre. She was the youngest entrepreneur there. Visitors at the exhibition were amazed to see a young girl among a crowd of older entrepreneurs. She said it was the second time she exhibited at an event.
