Exploring the world through Chocolate
Manama : Bringing world’s finest chocolate products, exhibitors, chocolatiers and entrepreneurs under one roof, the second edition of Bahrain’s Chocolate and Coffee Exhibition kick-started in the Kingdom yesterday.
Over 60 local and international exhibitors are participating in the event mainly from Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Britain, France and the United States.
The event is being held under the patronage of the CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTI) Shaikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa in Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The First Edition held last December engaged more than 15,000 visitors and 51 participants.
The Exhibition, according to BTI, provides Chocolate Makers and investors with an ideal platform to strengthen their productive partnerships and business relationships and explore new horizons in Chocolate Industry and Trade.
Yasmin Jamal, CEO of Bedayaat, the organisers of the Bahrain Chocolate and Coffee exhibition, said that the expo gathers under one roof exhibitors, chocolatiers, entrepreneurs, and all interested individuals and benefits them with new investment opportunities.
“Last year, the visitors received an exclusive opportunity to make Bahrain’s seafront out of small chocolate pieces, and a fun experience of tasting rich chocolate flavours. At the same time, the event also supported the tourism sector which witnessed a threefold growth over the past decade,” she added.
This event includes training sessions in the chocolate and Coffee industry. Yasmeen called on all interested participants to attend these training courses to improve their careers and identify new horizons.
