Man found dead in Bahrain in idling car identified
Manama : Hussain Ali Mohammed was identified as the man found dead in a parked car next to a mosque in Bilad Al Qadeem.
A source told DT News, “Hussain Ali Mohammed, was a resident of Manama.”
Earlier, residents of Bilad Al Qadeem, who found the man motionless in the idling car, told DT News that they suspect “an overdosed on some medicine.”
However, no official confirmation is available regarding this. The Interior Ministry is yet to confirm the incident.
Police earlier, from a nearby restaurant CCTV footage, found that the car was parked at the spot by the man himself.
According to the footage, the car was parked at the spot on Tuesday 9:58 pm.
Owner of the restaurant, earlier told DT News, had noticed the man parking the car there. He, however, didn’t find anything suspicious at that time.
Police were called into action on the next day, when the idling vehicle, a sports sedan, continued to remain there with the man remaining unresponsive.
“In the morning, we noticed that the car was still there, with its engine still running and this made us suspicious,” the restaurant owner said.
“Our CCTV camera got all the details and we didn’t find anyone going near the car since he parked there,” he added.
