Bahrain National Guard signs MoU with Pakistan Army

ManamaThe National Guard and the Pakistani Army yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to implement Joint Counter-Terrorism Exercise (Bader2).

His Highness Staff-Major Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Commander of Special Operations Unit in the National Guard, signed the deal in the presence of the Head of Operations and Training Department. 

Shaikh Salman affirmed that the National Guard is continuing its modernisation and development programme as per its 2020 strategic plan. 

Bader2 will be realised in Bahrain following the successful implementation of Bader1 in Pakistan which includes practical military drills to boost the efficiency of the participating military in the fight against terrorism.
