Shahzad wins CBA 8 A side tournament
Manama : CBA conducted 8A side Tournament on Bahrain National Day for Division C & D teams.
In Division C more than 25 teams participated in this tournament with 5 overs, Shahzad Zafar and Unique qualified for the finals.
Toss was won by Shahzad Zafar who elected to Bowl first and restricted Unique CC for 33 runs for 7 wickets in 5 overs, Asif took 3 wickets for just 4 runs and Khalid took 2 wickets for just 2 runs for Shahzad Zafar, Chasing the target opener Shahzad scored 23 runs helped his team to reach the target in 3.4 overs and won the Division C Title, Winning team bagged $300 and individual trophies and Runner-up bagged $200 and individual trophies,
Brief score Shahzad Zafar 34/1 in 3.4 overs (Shahzad 23, Asgar 1/10) beat Unique CC 33/7 in 5 overs (Askar 15, Asif 3/ 4, Khalid 2/2) by 6 wickets.
