Boy crushed to death in Bahrain
Riffa : A four-year-old boy was crushed to death after being trapped under a car yesterday.
The deceased is identified as Aryan Arabindkumar Kushwaha, an LKG student at the Indian School Bahrain.
The incident took place in Riffa at the Sultan Building near the ILC hospital around 1:30 pm. The boy was playing with his friends in his building compound when the incident happened.
“The little boy got trapped under the car while the driver of the car was reversing and did not look that there was a child behind. The car did not belong to any resident in the building. The driver was an outsider. The child was immediately rushed to the hospital but unfortunately, the kid could not be saved,” said a resident.
“The parents are devastated after the loss and aren’t able to speak to anyone. The boy also had a baby sister who is almost one year old,” said the resident.
The car and the driver is now in police custody. The boy’s body will soon be repatriated to India, the parents’ home country, after the legal formalities are over,” he said,
