We are close to our people: PM

Manama : Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday stressed the need to push forward with development drive to further strengthen the homeland’s unity and community cohesion saying, “We are close to our loyal and patriotic people and there is no space between us.”

The Premier was speaking during a reception held at the Qudaibiya Palace for a number of officials, Shura and Parliament members, members of economic activities, press and media figures and citizens. “The development course should go in parallel with the political path to establish stability,” HRH the Premier said pointing out that “it the most important factor for raising the standard of living and for a more decent and peaceful life”. 

Bahrain, HRH the Premier said, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa is steadily moving towards further strengthening the homeland’s unity and community cohesion. 

HRH the Premier paid tribute to the atmosphere of unity and cohesion manifested during the National celebrations. 

Stressing government’s support to bring more development at various levels, the Premier praised Parliamentarians’ efforts to meet citizens’ needs and defend the homeland’s
interests. 

The Premier also praised the role played by the press in supporting the government to uplift the community and improve public services.
