Service charge exemption
Manama : Parliament’s Services Committee has said that it approved a 50 per cent exemption of government service charges for disabled persons.
The committee held its meeting yesterday chaired by MP Abbas Essa Al Madi and attended by committee members. The committee endorsed the amended Law Bill for Amendment of Clause 7 of Law 74/2006 regarding Care, Rehabilitation and Employment for the Disabled. The bill waives the disabled from 50 per cent of charges payable in consideration of government services, according to the Head of the Services Committee.
