60-day deadline for industrial registration in Bahrain
Manama : The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism has announced a 60-day deadline for new factories to complete the registration process as per the requirements of the Unified Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) industrial regulation law.
The move, in line with the law no: “81” for the year 2006 in ratification of the Unified GCC industrial Organization law “system”, requires each industrial plant in the Kingdom to register its plant within 60 days of its actual production.
The certificate, according to the ministry, issued will be valid for a year and can be renewed annually.
The certificate should be produced on request or while dealing with the ministries and institutions of the Kingdom and GCC in all matters related to the plant transactions.
All factories in the Kingdom are listed in the database of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
What is the importance?
The certificate, according to the Ministry, is a must for any official purposes and should be displayed in the factory.

When I can apply?
The New factories should apply for the industrial registration within 60 days following the commencement.
