AGU graduate students to organise conference
Manama : Students of the College of Graduate Studies at the Arabian Gulf University (AGU) are organising the first student conference between January 22 and 24.
The Conference titled “The First Gulf Conference for Education and Human Development” aims to exchange experiences among educators.
Held under the theme of “Educational Horizons with an Innovative Vision”, the event will focus on topics including future planning, the role of education in establishing and strengthening national values among citizens of the Gulf, recent issues and trends in the field of education for individuals with learning difficulties, disabilities and autism will be discussed among several others.
The conference will also handle contemporary issues in gifted education, guidance programmes and their role in confronting students’ educational problems. It will review scientific perspectives of psychological research in light of current educational issues, as well as obstacles that threaten the educational process and limit human development.
