Brave athletes among top ranked Arabs
Manama : Ottman Azaitar, Elias Boudegzdame and Mohammed Fakhreddine are ranked as the best fighters from MENA region in their respective weight categories by MMA MENA.
The other athletes who made it to the rankings include Hamza Kooheji, Navras Abzakh, Jalal Al Daaja, Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady, Ahmed Amir and Jarrah Al Silawi.
Hamza Kooheji ranked second in the bantamweight division, is the first and only Bahraini athlete to be featured in the rankings in the region.
Elias Boudegzdame is the featherweight champion of Brave Combat Federation while Ottman Azaitar is the lightweight champion of the promotion.
The results favoured Brave after the highly acclaimed fight night hosted by Bahrain where the fighters from the region showcased highest display of skill and talent.
The Bahrain based mixed martial arts promotion had intensified its focus on the Middle East by holding 2017 Brave International Combat Week, the largest Combat Sports festival in the history of MENA region followed by the announcement of the event in Jordan.
