Electronic draw begins for ‘Khalifa City’ housing project
Manama : The Ministry of Housing yesterday announced starting started electronic draw for beneficiaries of the “Khalifa City” housing project.
Housing Minister, Bassim Alhamar, said that the first batch of beneficiaries are named following the Royal Order to name the Southern Governorate’s 7000-unit housing projects, linking Askar, Jau, Al-Dur and their suburbs after His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The project falls within the 25,000-unit programme included in the Government Action Plan (GAP) and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives to build 40,000 units.
