Heritage panel formed
Manama : HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee President has issued a decision appointing chairman and members of the Bahrain popular heritage sports committee.
Khalifa Al Gaoud was named committee chairman. Other members are vice-chairman Salem Al Hajri, general secretary Mohammed Janahi, treasurer Abdulaziz Al Rumaihi, Mohammed Al Marri, Ali Fadel, Rashid Al Rumaihi and Khalifa Al Kaabi.
The committee is responsible for overseeing sports activities and competitions of heritage in the Kingdom under the supervision of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and in accordance with the provisions of the applied regulations.
