NMS-DPS celebrates Republic Day

New Millennium School-DPS celebrated India’s 68th Republic Day on their school premises with great enthusiasm and gaiety. The patriotic fervour warmed up the cold winter morning as the children and teachers of the school ardently gathered to celebrate the event. 

The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. To mark the importance of this day, special assemblies and activities were conducted. The school echoed with nationalistic commitment as the children drew patriotism through a pledge, self-composed poems and songs. 

A power-point presentation on the Indian Constitution and the importance of Republic Day was also shown. The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love for their motherland.

Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai and Managing Director  Geetha Pillai extended their best wishes on the occasion.  Principal  Arun Kuumar Sharma, in his address to the gathering, expressed pride in the rich cultural past of the country. He urged every student to work with honesty and dedication to the nation.  He also reminded the students about the school’s motto ‘Service Before Self’ and how the students of today hold the future of one’s country in their hands.
