Olympic Academy to unveil plans for 2018
Manama : The Bahrain Olympic Academy, which is under the umbrella of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) will unveil its programmes scheduled for 2018 at a press conference today.
Tipping off at 12 noon at Hani Royal Hotel in Seef, the conference will focus on the programmes that the academy is organizing this year, including courses, workshops and seminars covering different subjects and specialities.
Supreme Council for Youth and Sports assistant general secretary and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar will be speaking at this gathering, in which representatives of local publications, social media and Bahrain TV will be present.
Meanwhile, the hotel will also host the National Sports Day’s organizing committee first preparatory meeting today at 9.30am to set up the initial points on this year’s event, to be organized for the second consecutive time and involves all segments of the society.
The Bahrain Sports Day 2018 will be brought up by the committee in cooperation with all ministries, other government authorities and the private sector to promote sport as a healthy lifestyle.
