Council clears walkway, garden project in Al Naim

ManamaThe Capital Municipal Council has approved its plan to build a new walkway and a garden in Al Naim, Manama area. The walkway and garden will be built near Al Naim area, in Manama. 

“The area has three vacant unused plots. As these plots are privately owned, the council will buy out the land from its owner to build the garden and walkway so that the residents of the area are benefitted,” said Engineer Mazen Ahmad Al-Omran, Vice Chairman of Capital Municipal Council, adding that  the decision was taken at the Municipal Council meeting held yesterday.

Another proposal that was discussed and approved in the agenda was to change the zoning and urban planning of Block 626 in West Eker. “The zoning in Block 626 was changed to SP (specials projects) from RB (Residential Buildings) so that both residential and commercial activities can coexist in the area. We also designated a public car park service for a smooth flow of activities in the area,” Mazen added.
