Bahrain to mark Environment Day

ManamaPersonal Representative of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Environment Council Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed Bahrain’s unique marine reserves and the need to preserve them. 

Marking the National Environment Day on February 4, he emphasised the constitution and the National Action Charter call for protecting natural resources.He underlined the role of the National Environment Day in boosting awareness to preserve marine reserves and wildlife. He also pointed out the Kingdom’s access to many agreements in this regard, affirming Bahrain’s keenness on protecting its wildlife and sea reserves.
