New EDB board members named

Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB) yesterday named new board of directors for the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB} for the term 2018 - 2021.

The new board of directors, under HRH’s chairmanship, is as follows:

HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa; HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa; Shaikh Khaled bin Abdulla Al Khalifa; Hasan Abdulla Fakhroo (Deputy Chairman); Minister of Finance; Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain; Minister of Labour and Social Development; Minister of Transport and Telecommunications; Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism; Chairman of Economic Affairs and Labour Fund (Tamkeen); Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Development Board; Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Farooq Yousif Al Moayed; Saud Abdulaziz Kanoo; Dr. Samer Majed Al Jishi; Yousif Abdulla Ali Redha; Tariq Jaleel Al Saffar; Khaled Ebrahim Humaidan; Khalid Ali Al-Ameen; Najla Mohamed Al Shirawi; Rasha Mohamed Sabkar; Fatima Isa Ebrahim. 

These appointments will take effect immediately.
