Organisers step up 2018 Bahrain Sports Day preparations
Manama : The mechanism of the programmes and activities, run by the ministries to celebrate the 2018 Bahrain Sports Day, was presented at the organising committee meeting yesterday.
The 2018 Bahrain Sports Day, scheduled for February 13, is organised by the Bahrain Olympic Committee for the second consecutive time, and targets both citizens and the expat community of all ages.
The third meeting hosted by Elite Grand Hotel in Seef, BOC general secretary and organizing committee chairman Abdulrahman Askar had fruitful discussions with members of the committee in putting the final touches on their preparations.
The committee consists of representatives of ministries and other government and private authorities, who presented their respective final programme of activities to be held during the day as part of the 2018 Bahrain Sports Day.
They also looked into the official website of the event, which was recently launched and is now accepting registration online at http://www.sportsday.bh.
