ICRF holds free medical camp for workers in Tubli
Manama : The Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF) is holding a Medical Camp for the workers of Shutdown Maintenance Company located in Tubli, on Friday, from 9 am until 12 noon.
Senior Medical consultants will lead the camp which is expecting the participation of over 300 workers. It is also the 123rd medical camp of ICRF.
The camp, which is open to Shutdown Maintenance Company employees and to other labourers, will hold sessions on health awareness and safety tips for the participants.
Commenting on the programme, an ICRF social worker Pankaj Nallur told DT News, “ICRF has been functioning under the support of the Indian Embassy and has been organising regular medical checkup at various labour camps in Bahrain since 2002. Until date, ICRF has conducted around 122 such free medical checks up camps at various labour sites in Bahrain, which has benefited more than 41,600 Workers.”
“The medical camp will also have Urine Albumen check, and complete body check-ups,” he said confirming that special cases or cases which require “immediate attention” will be transferred to a local centre. “We will help them with resources required for their treatment.”
