Al Najma lift HM the King Fooball cup

Manama : Al Najma club yesterday claimed the HM the King Football Cup by beating Muharraq Club in the final held yesterday in the presence of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. 

HH Shaikh Nasser, the Representative to HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee took pride in attending the final match on behalf of HM the King and welcomed the Royal support for sports and youth movement, which provides further impetus for bringing more achievements to the homeland. 

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa presented Al Najma players with gold medals and the tournament cup and silver medals to Muharraq, the runner-up team. 

Speaking on the occasion, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa extended his congratulations to Al Najma Club chaired by Isa Al Qattan on the outstanding accomplishment. 

His Highness hailed the winning team’s extraordinary efforts and remarkable team effort displayed throughout the tournament and extended congratulations to Bahrain Football Association led by Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa on the exceptional organisation of the
game.
