Bahrain gains entry into IYF

Manama : Bahrain yesterday became a member of the International Youth Federation (IYF), a move that is expected to enhance the Kingdom’s youth empowerment drive. 

Representing Kingdom at the Federation will be 26-year-old Abdulaziz Alsebaie, the Executive Board of IYF announced in a statement. 

“Our vision at the IYF is to enable Bahrain’s youth to get their voices heard and giving talented and motivated young people the opportunity to acquire the skills and knowledge to actively contribute to the development of their societies,” the organisation stated.  “Mr Abdulaziz is a young leader passionate about youth empowerment and innovation. Through his community engagements, he seeks to empower the youth through initiatives serving their country and communities. Additionally, he is also keen on taking part in and encouraging the support of activities and events related to the SDGs’ however and whenever possible. Moreover, as a multi-talented young professional, Abdulaziz has further endeavours as a Google Certified Digital Marketer and social media consultant who helps local businesses navigate the rapidly changing market trends,” the statement said. 

Commenting on the recognition, Abdulaziz told DT News: “We have not started operations in Bahrain yet. But we will soon have independent initiatives.”

“We will also support other initiatives whether it is government initiatives or private or NGO initiatives that help the youth. We are a non-profit Organization and the social cause is what is important to us,” added Abdulaziz.
