Two weeks after death, family of man still waiting for body

ManamaThe family of the football coach, who was found dead a couple of weeks ago, is eagerly waiting for his body to be repatriated to his native place in the Indian state of Kerala.

“My father was found dead more than two weeks ago, but there is no clue as to when his body will be repatriated. I spoke to the sponsor but he told me the case is pending with the public prosecution and only after the formalities are over his body will be repatriated,” a grieving Vyshak Thilakan, son of Thilakan  Ondayankaryan,  told DT News.

“We are really helpless as we are in a foreign country and we don’t really know what is happening,” he added.

“As per post-mortem report, the cause of the death of Thilakan was cardiac pulmonary arrest due to suicidal hanging,” said a source, adding that Thilakan died on February 22, as per records.”
