BisB and BENEFIT mull Fintech deal

Manama : Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) held a business meeting with “BENEFIT” at the company’s headquarters in Manama to develop strategic future plans in digital banking and the role of the bank in the BenefitPay application.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Executive Officer of BisB, Hassan Jarrar, the Chief Executive Officer of BENEFIT, Abdulwahed AlJanahi, along with senior officials from both parties.

Commenting on the move, Hassan Jarrar said: “We are excited to start a new chapter with our partner, BENEFIT, in light of our commitment to implementing our strategy ‘Ishraq - Back to Basics’ and our vision of transforming the Bank into a Fintech hub and offering the latest and simplest electronic banking solutions to customers.” 

Explaining further, CEO of BisB added: “The joint strategy we formed with BisB plays a critical role in enhancing BenefitPay’s client base by aligning it with our business partners. Together, we strive to provide an e-payment tool with innovative applications that emerges as the preferred choice for our consumers, further developing the vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain to emerge as the leading Fintech hub in the region.”
