Carlsson expects outstanding performance from Amir
Manama : Erik Carlsson has extended his support towards Ahmed Amir who is set to fight at Brave 11 held at Belo Horizonte on 13th April.
Erik Carlsson and Ahmed Amir gave one of the most exciting bouts at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions hosted at Bahrain.
In a fight that showcased the heart of both warriors, Amir edged Carlsson by split decision after a back and forth battle.
The fight was appreciated by the legends of the sport including John Kavanagh, Kirik Jenness, Frankie Edgar and Wanderlei Silva instantly making it a classic for ages yet to come.
In Brave, he is the first and only fighter representing Sweden.
Carlsson responded, “It will be a tough fight. I hope he will showcase outstanding performance and will prove the heart he has put into the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. As a person he struggled a lot to reach where he is right now and is an ambassador of mixed martial arts in Egypt. I wish him the best in his upcoming fight.”
