Federations urged to submit sports programmes
Manama : The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) has urged sports federations of football, volleyball, basketball and handball to present its respective schedule of sports programmes for 2018 in order to lialise with Bahrain TV Sports Channel to broadcast these competitions and prevent clashes of the finals.
This statement was announced at BOC meeting with representatives of the four sports federations at the committee premises in Seef.
It was also attended by Bahrain TV Sports Channel head Maryam Bukamal, who gave a presentation on the channel’s programmes calendar, stressing the importance of coordination with relevant authorities to ensure proper coverage of the finals of these four sports.
Present at the meeting were Hasan Ismael (football), Khalid Al Naem (handball), Abdulelah Abdulghafar (basketball) and Mohammed Al Fardan (volleyball), and sports federations executive director Abduljalil Asad from the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
