BOC: Strategic planning importance noted
Manama : The Bahrain Olympic Committee’s (BOC) Strategic Planning directorate organized a two-day workshop for its employees to identify the concept of strategic planning in an attempt to enhance their ability to implement their projects.
Strategic Planning Specialist Mariam Matar spoke about the importance of strategic planning and the sources of the Olympic Committee’s strategy, namely the Olympic Charter, Bahrain Vision 2030 and the policies of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.
She also brought up three elements – the vision, mission and values of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, as well as the seven objectives of the committee’s strategies, the strategic plan sequences, setting up the plans and guidance on Key Performance Indicator and how to fill in the relevant forms.
Late on, strategic planning specialist Marwa Ahmadi presented the quality management system within the committee, and pointed out that the quality system means meeting the needs and requirements of the customer and the continuous development of production processes to win customer satisfaction.
