Fashion Expo begins
Manama : Under the patronage of the Chief Executive Officer of Injaz Bahrain, Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, the third edition of the ‘Arabian Women Fashion Expo 2018’ was inaugurated by Shaikha Noora bint Abdulla Al Khalifa yesterday at Moda Mall, the leading luxury shopping destination in Bahrain.
The event, organised by Touches Events and supported by Tamkeen, will be held over a period of four days, until the 31st of March 2018.
The launch event was attended by key female figures from Bahrain and across the GCC. The expo is the ideal platform that provides participants and visitors with the opportunity to network and build new business opportunities.
Shaikha Hessa expressed her great pleasure in supporting such a distinguished exhibition for the third consecutive year.
“The event reiterates that Bahraini and Gulf women are able to innovate and succeed in the business world, especially within the fashion industry. The event is in-line with the Kingdom’s approach in supporting national initiatives led by His Majesty the King with the support of both the HRH Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince,” said Shaikha Hessa.
This year, around 40 leading designers from the GCC and the Middle East have been selected to take part in the exhibition to showcase the latest trends in fashion, jewellery and home accessories, further positioning the expo as one of the leading fashion exhibitions in the region.
“We extend our thanks and appreciation to Shaikha Noora bint Abdulla Al Khalifa for her generous support, further enhancing the role of women in Bahrain and the GCC in the entrepreneurship field and significantly contributing to the development of the private sector,” commented the managing partners of Touches Events, Deema Murad and Wassan Busaad.
This edition will feature a variety of activities for visitors, including a fashion show on Thursday, 29th March 2018 in Al Taj Ballroom.
