Sitra MPs slam terror attack on policemen

The two members of parliament from Sitra, MP Majeed Al Asfoor and MP Mohamed Jaffar Milad have expressed their denunciation and condemnation in strongest terms Tuesday’s tragic terror bomb blast which claimed the lives of two policemen. They urged all society institutions to be alert and cautious vis-a-vis hidden agenda aimed to undermine the Bahraini society.

In a statement, MP Majid Al Asfoor said he had sent condolence message to the Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa on the martyrs of national duty. “I denounce in strongest terms this terror attack. I wish loyal security men who sustained injuries a fast recovery.” 

MP Al Asfoor in his statement rejected the suspicious elements’ attempts at tarnishing the reputation of Sitra's good-natured dwellers. “Sitra residents stand at this historic moment with the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to defend the country from any foreign intervention.” 

MP Al Asfoor called on Sitra residents to be cautious at this very sensitive phase in the country's history and not to drift behind fake statements of malicious sides aimed to weaken the national unity.

MP Mohammed Jaffar Milad also denounced the criminal terroristic attack in Sitra. He urged all to fight extremism and terrorism at all level and to uproot it and dry up its sources for the country.
