Bahrain to upgrade quality Management System soon
Bahrain is going to upgrade its quality management system in the next three years, said Quality Management expert Tariq bin Zafar while speaking to the DT News on the sidelines of the one day training workshop on ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Awareness Course at the Ministry of Transportation and telecommunications premises here in Bahrain.
The training workshop had been conducted by Resource Inspection Canada Incorporated (RICI) and almost more than a dozen quality professional of the transportation ministry took part in it. It was part of an awareness programme on the shifting of ISO9001: 2008 to ISO9001: 2015.
He said that the new system would integrate all the interested parties instead of the customers. Interested parties will include the owners, financers, bankers, suppliers and employees and leaders will be included in it. “Unless the organisations understand the problems of all the interested parties, the system will not progress at all,” he said.
The new system is coming in September and all the organizations will have only three years to transfer to the new system. He said that the new system was an international standard not for one organisation but for the whole world.
“The system tells that don’t do any mistake and it gets efficient and it will increase your credibility.” He said.
Chief Qualtiy Management Section Hameeda Al Hakam, Ministry of Transportation told the DT News that they were hopefully going to change the quality management systems within one year.
