Jawad Mohamed named as CEO of Solidarity Bahrain

Manama : Solidarity Bahrain, one of the largest insurance companies in Bahrain and a subsidiary of Solidarity Group Holding, has announced the appointment of Jawad Mohamed as Chief Executive Officer of Solidarity Bahrain. 

Most recently, Mohammed was the General Manager of the company. Mohamed has over 23 years of experience in the Insurance industry and Corporate Management. He holds a Bachelor and a Master in Computer Science (MSc) and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in London (ACII). Mohamed is a member of the board of Bahrain Insurance Association.

Announcing the decision, in a statement, Tawfeeq Shehab, Chairman of the company said, “Jawad’s appointment as CEO of Solidarity Bahrain, is a reflection of the Board’s confidence in his abilities to guide the company in the current challenging market environment.” 

For his part, Ashraf Bseisu, Vice-chairman of the company and Group Chief Executive said, “Jawad is no stranger to Solidarity and has held several senior posts within the Group since its inception in 2003”. 

Mohamed welcomed the appointment and thanked the Board of Directors for their continued support. “I am privileged to have been appointed as the CEO of the Company after the successful conclusion of the merger between Solidarity General Takaful B.S.C. (closed) and Al Ahlia Insurance Company B.S.C.,” said Mohamed.
