Ensuring quality education

Manama The AMA International School Bahrain announced providing its teachers with an in-depth professional development programme, in line with its commitment to provide quality education for students. 

Explaining the programme, the school said the move falls in line with its firm belief that an empowered teacher is equipped to meet the diverse needs of students, thus, raising the academic achievement and improving the personal development of students.

The workshop-training focuses on the teaching and learning domain of education with particular topics on Lesson planning; understanding the principles behind differentiated instruction; defining and applying cooperative learning concept; assessment for learning; developing technical, quantitative, and analytical skills to analyze student performance; applying the six-phase approach and mastering the benchmarking and best practices of Total Quality Management (TQM) to meet the Bahrain Quality Assurance (BQA) standard; understanding how to deal with difficult people / parent’s behavior; and managing safety at workplace.

The School Director, Madam Marietta S. Sicat is monitoring the teachers’ implementation of the workshop-training inside the classroom.
