Pakistan school holds National Day celebrations

Manama : Pakistan National Day was celebrated with great zeal and fervour in the Jinnah Hall of Pakistan School on 24th March in Isa Town. 

Eminent members of the Pakistani community, Members Board of Management, parents, teachers, students and other guests participated in the function which also affirmed Pakistan community’s solidarity and unflinching support to the Royal leadership and the people of Bahrain.

Saad Bin Rafiq, Community Welfare Attache, Embassy of Pakistan was the chief guest. Rana Rashid, a prominent member of the Pakistan community and Bahrain and Pakistan friendship forum was the guest of honour.

Mazher Hussain recited the verses of the Holy Quran followed by the playing of the National Anthem of both Bahrain and Pakistan.

In his welcome Address, Chairman BOM, Sami Ur Rehman praised the efforts of the School Administrators, teachers and students for making the function a grand success and emphasised on the importance of the activities which instil patriotism in the young minds.

The students of the school presented a colourful Tableaux and national songs displaying love and esteem for their beloved country on the occasion. Appreciation certificates were awarded to the students and teachers for their participation in different events.

Rana Rashid, the guest of honour, in appreciation of the great performance of the students, announced a cash prize of BD20 for each student during the event held in the presence of Principal Attiq-Ur-Rehman.
