Athletes welcome the global initiatives

ManamaMixed Martial Artists welcomed the global initiatives by the Kingdom of Bahrain to nurture the growth of the combat sports.

Brave Combat Federation had successfully announced two events at the moment with Brave 11 being hosted in Belo Horizonte, Brazil on 13 April and Brave 12 being hosted in Indonesia in the month of May.

The Bahrain based martial arts promotion had announced that new geographic locations will be targeted in the current year during line of operations.

“We have anticipated a great year for Brave Combat Federation in 2018 with new destinations being announced. The latest development is providing athletes numerous opportunities to showcase their skills on a global scale. Such an initiative of this magnitude had clearly projected the Kingdom of Bahrain as a global leader of combat sports,” said Frans Mlambo, contender for the Bantamweight championship.

“Being a part of Brave Combat Federation is a huge honour for me since I was there since the beginning to where it is now. It is motivating to see where the promotion is heading to the future. The organisation is a much needed platform for athletes from the Middle East, Africa, Europe and rest of Asia who find it hard to find the right global platform to showcase their skills. Also the initiatives of Brave Combat Federation under His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa is changing the perception about athletes from the Middle East in a very positive level. With events announced in Brazil and Indonesia the growth and results will definitely be exemplary,” said Abdul Kareem Al- Selwady.
