NMS students visit Batelco

New Millennium school organized a field trip to Batelco, Riffa for the students of Grade XII who have opted Computer Science. The trip, guided by Ghadi and Ram, proved to be a knowledge gaining platform for wireless communication. 

Students were highly motivated to know the essence behind the unique names of the labs -  Integrity, Creativity, Teamwork, Customer Driven, Ownership and Hard work; being the core values of the Organization.

The highlights of the session conducted by Muhammed Kamel included a glimpse of Batelco’s history and legacy, presentations on the training facilities and demonstration on network engineering. The interactive session followed by an open forum helped students gain better insight of Batelco’s future roadmap for providing customers access to the latest telecommunication services.

The Principal, Arun Kuumar Sharma, asserted that such field trips would deepen and enhance classroom learning providing the students an opportunity to encounter and explore novel ideas in an authentic setting. He thanked the BATELCO Management for their hospitality and the expertise with which the students were explained the concepts.

The Chairman, Dr. Ravi Pillai and the Managing Director Geetha Pillai appreciated the trip.
